    On Sunday morning, October 27th, there will be a field trip for all 5th & 6th  grade students and their parents to the Touro Synagogue in Newport, RI. 

    Students and their families will be leaving by bus from the Temple Sinai parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 1:00 p.m. 

    After the tour, we will have the opportunity for lunch, so please either pack a lunch or plan on bringing money to purchase lunch in Newport.  There is no cost for the tour or transportation.
     
    The Touro Synagogue is the oldest synagogue in North America and is still in use as an active synagogue today.  Mrs. Nelson’s family were members for over 50 years, and she grew up in the Religious school.
     
    Our program will include a brief tour and discussion that will begin at 10:30 am and then we will have free time for lunch in Newport, RI.
     
    There will be class if your student will not be attending the field trip.

    Temple Sinai is pleased to offer youth related programming in parallel to the first morning service on Rosh Hashanah (first day only), Monday, September 30th, and on Yom Kippur, Wednesday, October 9th. 
    To register your child, please complete this form by Friday, September 20th. 
    All children must be pre-registered to participate.
     

    Non-member families may participate in our youth programming for a fee of $18 per child.  It is the same cost whether you choose to send your child to one or both services.

    There is no charge for Temple Sinai members, however, your sponsorship to help offset staffing and programming costs is deeply appreciated. 

    Please see the High Holy Days webage for details about Youth Program Sponsorship.  

    Participation in youth programming is optional.  Youth are always welcome to the main service if preferred.

    Temple Members  will receive tickets for their own household at no charge.  As a reminder, members must be current in their prior year's financial obligations in order to receive tickets.
